Midas, shy and gentle photographer, speaks to Ida, the so-called Girl with the Glass Feet in the novel by Ali Shaw. Illustries’ Head of Words can’t recommend this book highly enough: beautifully written, uplifting and moving – a love story to inspire the coldest of heart. There are too many perfect phrases in this novel, but this, very short, extract is something that we keep in our minds whenever we’re writing an Illustries love story. Lovely photographs are a snapshot in time that will shine forever, but if you can also capture the memory behind them, you have something to truly treasure.
